צ'ואי נבנה בשביל אנשים שהטלפון קשה להם, ולכן גם האתר נבנה כך שיהיה נוח לקריאה ולשימוש. האתר הותאם לפי תקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), התשע"ג-2013, ולפי התקן הישראלי ת"י 5568 ברמה AA.
מה עשינו
- כתב גדול כברירת מחדל, ניגודיות גבוהה, ואפשר להגדיל עד 200% בלי לאבד תוכן.
- כפתורים וקישורים גדולים, עם סימון ברור כשמגיעים אליהם במקלדת.
- אפשר לנווט בכל האתר עם מקלדת, וקיים קישור לדילוג לתוכן.
- מבנה כותרות תקין, שפת הדף מוגדרת (עברית או אנגלית), והאתר עובד עם קוראי מסך.
- לסרטונים יש כתוביות בעברית ובאנגלית, והם לא מתחילים לפעול לבד.
- תנועה על המסך מצומצמת, ומבוטלת כשמוגדר במכשיר להפחית תנועה.
מה עדיין לא מושלם
- הסרטונים מוקלטים באנגלית. הכתוביות בעברית מתרגמות את הדיבור.
- לסרטונים אין תיאור קולי. כל מה שקורה בהם מתואר גם בטקסט שלידם.

chewy is made for people who find their phone hard to use, so this site is built to be easy to read and use too. It follows Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA.
What we did
- Large text by default, high contrast, and zoom up to 200% without losing content.
- Large buttons and links, with a clear outline when reached by keyboard.
- The whole site works with a keyboard, with a skip-to-content link.
- Proper heading structure, the page language is set (Hebrew or English), and it works with screen readers.
- The videos have Hebrew and English captions and never start on their own.
- Motion is kept to a minimum and turned off when the device asks to reduce motion.
Known gaps
- The videos are recorded in English. Hebrew captions translate the speech.
- The videos have no audio description. Everything that happens in them is also described in the text beside them.
